Competition Clutch is not new (maybe 2-3 years). Chris Jewel is the owner. He used to work for Clutch Masters. He was the face to Clutch Masters that everyone saw on the import performance side of the business, like a Sales Manager/Promoter of sorts while guys like Mike Lee at CM did the product development, and Greg (the owner) financed it. Looking at his new brand, the product is similar to what Clutch Masters sells. He changes the geometry of the pressure plate, has a variety of friction materials and uses Quartermaster twin discs (stage 6). I won't comment on the product's quality because I honestly don't know enough about it. I am not trying to dog on their product but the percentage of increase in the advertising is let's just say "largely inflated". There is no way IMO they are getting a 150-200% increase in torque capacity with their stage 3 for instance. So if the stock clutch can handle 250 ftlbs, then their stage 3 can handle 625-750 ftlbs? Uhh.... sure. That is down right hilarious to me!
