Buschur race FMIC

Well i just got my Buschur race fmic and i must say its very nice. The welds on it are top notch and on the car it makes the car look like a monster .. I think iam just going to drive around awhile with the bumper off just to show it off, jdm tuner style .

Now am i going to need to get retuned or should my reflash i have be fine? I wouldnt think i would need one since i would be less prone to det with a bigger fmic. But i dont know if i will get boost creep or other things with such a big fmic that would need tuneing. thanks!

btw i will have pics up later!

No you do not need a retune after an intercooler install. If the car didnt come with an FMIC (STI, NA cars) it would be beneficial to retune the car.

How much longer did you have to make the lower I/C pipe or did you get the one from them as well?

I have the same intercooler. I really fills up the front end nice. Makes the stock intercooler look like something you found at a junkyard. I am still running the same tuning that I was before I put it in, and the car is going just fine.

Anyone know how much longer the Lower I/C pipe needs to be to connect to their RACE FMIC?(Asking because using an AMS GT35R kit and getting the BUSCHUR Race FMIC),so from what I understand the lower I/C pipe needs to be longer, just how much is the $1,000,000 question.Anyone who has done this please chime in,thanks
