Any way to mount "normal" battery?

I have AMS upper intercooler piping and was wondering if there is any way to mount a normal battery besides the mini? Thanks.

If you want to retain the stock battery, yes.

Are there smaller batteries than our stock, but not as small as a mini. The reason I'm asking is becasue my mini just took a dump on me and I probably have to buy a new one. I was always sick of it losing its charge after not driving the car for a couple days....

yeah that's the big problem with the mini batteries...they do not retain a charge for that long unless they are used or kept on a trickle charger

have you tried using a battery tender while the car is not being used?

Yeah, but is there a way to do it so I don't have to unhook the battery from the car? Is it safe to hook a trickle charger up while the battery is in the car?

You could also try a Miata battery. It has smaller dimensions amd is lighter than the stock one. Better longevity than the mini/motorcycle batteries (Odyssey, etc.). I think autozone has one for about $80.

i had my stock battery rotated sideways prior to getting the rallyarmor tray/braille battery. you just have to notch the tray and drill a hole for the bracket rod. be careful of the positive terminal and the strut bar.

How do you hook up the braille power protector? Does it mount to the battery somehow in the car? Couldn't find any online instructions.
