My machine shop told me it was a steel flywheel. Are you sure it is cast iron?

I thought it was peculiar that my act flywheel felt heavier than the stock one, but the weight on the ACT is centered on the flywheel. It is a little harder to drive.

Most of the time, with the stock flywheel, you may not be able to re-use it because of overheating from abuse.

a lot of people resurface their oem flywheel, it saves money and maintain better drivability.

Your not going to feel the difference between the ACT and stock. ACT is good for people who need a new flywheel or cant resurface the stocker.

I went with the ACT Streetlite because I wasn't sure of what kind of condition the old one would be when we pulled it out and I got a really good package deal on it with the ACT XTSS clutch. I ended up only paying an extra $150 to get the clutch kit with the flywheel and I still have the old stocker that I can probably resurface and sell, or just sell as is and get some of that back.
