ive been real busy with school and work(btw got a job as a tech at fletcher jones mercedes..SUEPR EXCITED) so i need some help with this one from some of u guys...right now i have hks 272 cams helix cam gears, mbc, afc2, o2 housing, tbe, intake, uicp, licp, fmic, intake, arp headstuds, 10.5 hotside , fp, and 720cc injectors and on pump i made 350whp and 310wtq, on race gase i made 380whp, and 330wtq...i eventaully wanna build my car when i pay it off, but i really want an amazing all around car, a street beast that spools quick with over 400whp, im purchasing the snow performance alky injection kit, the br20g-9, and maybe an exhaust manifold, my question...is the stock manifold a good choice for this setup or should i get a new one, and what kind of power am i looking at with this setup...
thanks guys

Congrats on your new job at Mercedes!! Get use to be soak on oil doing the 180 degrees inverse mounted oil filters on the Mercedes. Mercedes is so advanced in some mechanical aspects but then they engineered a oil filter capsule that just poor the oil on your hands and engine bay. It is a retarded design...

I worked doing light task in a automechanic specialized shop in San Antonio,TX in 96-97 working in Mercedes/Audi/Porsche/Volswagen(European car and parts in Leon Valley/Bandera rd, getting paid S H I T(working for a guy from Iran) but I am sure you will be fine.

You will get a very value and expensive training through Mercedes, fully sponsor by them.

Even the basic certification from the Mercedes will make you earn a few more dollars per hour just about anywhere. Those specialized training are very very expensive.

Take advantage of their sponsorship program.

The stock manifod is fine around 400whp but after that you may want to upgrade. There are people with the stock mani running more than 400whp but they are pushing it. You will prolly be fine but to optimaize your setup a tubular egqual length will always rendor more powa.

You could mildly port the stocker if you aren't planning on going much more beyond that.

Oh, as a former owner of a 2000 E55 AMG, you got lots of job security. That b!tch was in the shop all the time.

I would suggest if you are going to spend all that money... scrap the 20g and go big turbo! You wont regret it.

I was considering a 20g to go with my stroker but you might as well stay with a modified 16g. The dollar to power ratio is way off with a 20g and I would do a 50trim or a 30 series smaller then a 35R.

You can't rev the snot out of a 2.3 because of piston speed limitations and to compliment the stroker you should get a turbo that spools early and stays in the sweet spot without have to rev like crazy.

There are flow charts floating around here. However, 400whp wont be a problem with all the supporting mods.
