Electronic Boost Gauge install

Anyone can shed some light on installing a Electronic boost gauge on the evo 8? I know how to install a mech boost gauge fine, but a Electronic boost gauge I have no Idea. Do I need to tap in to the ECU or something? Please help me out?

Well, It really depends on the Gauge.. Some come with a sender, which will basically hooks up the same way, the wiring for the sensor can be run through the same location.. The key is to find an 'Ignition' 12+ supply voltage so the gauge energizes when the car is started.. But not when in accessory position.. You can definitely find a 12v source on the fusebox.
