Just try different deep sockets and find out which one fits.

I am limited in my skill and limited in tools as you can already observe. I was looking for a standard answer like Warrtalon's so that I can go purchase one of the fckers . It's taking me an hour already and the compression still hasn't been checked lol/

Well, it's just the other standard size for spark plugs. They usually both come in a toolset like those small folding handheld ones.

Maybe they are, but he doesn't have a IX. If IX plugs use a different socket, then that would be very weird - just like how their tip protrudes further than on the VIIIs.

O ok sorry I thought you had tools to your disposal to just check. I thought this was another lazy question that could have been answered easily by just checking. Good luck though

Warrtalon, I was just asking because you said all the evos were the same. I was told MIVEC is the reason they had to go for different plugs, but I've been too lazy to take the cover off myself

speaking of stupid socket sizes and what not, I did the oil change simultaneously on boths Evos today and the Evo 8 MR takes a 19mm for the drain plug while the Evo 9 takes a 17mm for the oil plug.
