Question about HPF 3.5 TBE.

Just a quick question about HPF 3.5" TBE. Is 3.5" an overkill? I am going to TT at the end of july, and I was wondering would this be a good TBE to go with On a stock EVO IX with TT stage 3 mods. I figure there has to be some back pressure , right? Please fill me with your .02

thanks
mike

Send a PM to caswanson he has a 3.5"TB and ran a 12.0@114 at SAR(San Antonio,TX) with minor mods. He might have a 3.5" from APS but at least he can give you ideas about spool up and what not.

stage 3? WTF is that? name your mods please if you can....... anyway if your looking for a bigger snail down the road, then go for it. if not, hell, still go for it. back pressure is nice if you want better throttle response of course.

What the hell? Now, you changed your mind again and are going back to that idea? Good Lord, man, how many times did you cancel your order with Buschur?

Gonna end up spending twice as much at this rate.

Talking

from your mods list, i don't think your running enough horsepower to justify a 3.5 tb. if all you want is bragging rights, then just go with the 3.5 catback. then you can claim you have the biggest one in town.

I seriously SERIOUSLY doubt you will make any more power by using a 3.5 inch over a 3 inch. Would be interesting to see some dyno comparisons though...

You said you'll be going to TT at the end of July and that you'll have their stage 3 mods. That along with asking about this exhaust doesn't make sense if you're waiting on your Buschur package.

let me clear this up for you. I'm going with burshur TBE and I will be getting tuned at TT , I would rather have a custom tune then mail in. unless AL comes to south jersey to give me a custom tune,I'm going to go with TT on a custom tune. I hope i have cleared that up for you

Well, he was in Jersey this weekend and will be down there again in August.

You said you're getting the package, but the package includes a tune. So, you're going to just waste that money and not use the tune you paid for then go pay another $650 minimum at TT? That makes no sense. You also won't be anywhere near TT Stage 3, so that doesn't make sense either. You didn't clear up anything for me - you're just a very strange guy.

You make some sort of commission off this shiat or what?

Give the guy some slack , Electric take your time and figure out which way is best for YOU . I think the Buschur Package is the Smarter way to go but take your time and weigh your options.

electric, just get whatever package you want and get it tuned where ever you want. you are right, getting custom tuned close to your home is the way to do it.

warrtalon- you really need to work on your sales tactic, pressuring a guy and pretty much offending him to buy your package does not seem like the birghtest idea...
