right short sweet i have 1600 16 v colt with a 4g92 enigne im currently in the process of instaling the td04 turbo and i was wonderng what the psi push i could put safely on the engine on an every day basis and also in terms of fuelling i was will be using an apexi safc2 and plx wideband 02 reader to tune it which will obviously have its limitations on how much power i can push out ive heard all sorts of things from differnt people some claiming 12 psi which sounds like a hell of alot for stock internals to me thanks guys

Not many guys in the US know about those types of engines. That and you posted it in the EVO section.

Check the international forums lower down and try maybe the Australian forum.

As far as I know the 4G92 is not in the US. Only the 93 and 94 belonging to the Mirage and current Lancer.

If you can't get a response there either then PM KillahB or bahamut and they have a more diverse base of knowledge on the foreign Mitsu engines.

either if you have dohc or sohc, those motors shouldn't be boosted over 10 psi. those motors are running 10 to 5 compression. on pump gas you will be asking for trouble at 10 psi. race gas, you'll be fine! if you still want to run 10 psi, just make sure to tune it very conservatively. richen it up a little bit.

I think JOn from TRE has one, I just rode in it last month. Does yours have the hi/lo t-case? Seems like it was a mid 80's Dodge Colt he had. Check the TRE www.teamrip.com site.
