I found your write up about your ams 2.3 Smoked. Very detailed and useful info. AMS is not the only company that makes top quality turbo kits, engines, etc.
In my situation I"m choosing and company that specializes In EVO, a shop that is relatively close, and a shop that can take care of everthing. RRE fits my wants and needs. AMS has a outstanding reputaion here and there is no doubt in my mind that if there were in California I would gladly take my car there. When you have to deal with shipping companies things happen. I would rather not take those risks.

I had no idea that RRE built stroker motors or any motors, but they are indeed a top-notch shop for DSMs and Evos - just as long as they're sold on EcuFlash now and don't try to get you to use an SAFC for tuning.

RRE is about 30 minutes away from me, so I would be very interested to know how it all turns out.

That's a good idea.

Those don't look too bad! Again, is there a write-up (unbiased?) out there? I have heard of them, but thats it.

If they were elite EVO motor builders, we would be talking about THEM, NOT AMS/Buschur. I am not knocking their stuff, just would like to get some feedback from some "users" of the equipment, thats all. Now that is my 6C. I still love you JJ
