well as i suspected the car is fine again. by tomarrow night it will be doing it again. i think this is happening because the ball keeps getting stuck up top. y it is doing it i dont know. but thats the only thing that keeps coming up when i check the car out. see what happen's

Get a new MBC and run new Vacc lines. Set the Boost to the lowest setting and start from there.

warr is right.....if you have an aftermarket BOV and it can actually hold the boost it might also be compressure surge....(not good)

Disassembled my Forge MBC this weekend. Both ends of the stiffer spring are beat up. It was still firmly installed but was difficult to get off and has what looks like rust on it. The ball is beat to hell, alot of the "shiny" surface is off (peeled off???). I cleaned and reassembled.

I'm not the original poster of this thread but my auto-boost to 30 in any gear quit and I no longer have the nasty sputtering I did. I intend to post a new thread with pics. I didn't buy this part expecting to "maintain" it let alone replace it after <10,000 (or ANY) miles ...
