Wheel hop - How to eliminate it?

Last time at the strip, on my last pass, using the launch control feature at 5500 RPM I got some NASTY wheel hop from the front wheels. I searched and searched but most people seem to be getting wheel hop in the rear. I would like to know what I can do to eliminate it from the front.

My launch method is to basically hold the 2step for a couple of seconds until I build about .6-.7 psi the let the clutch out. As soon as the car starts to move I release the clutch kind of like a quick slip.

I assume that lowering the tire pressure would help some, but I'm on the stock advans and the side walls on those tires are HARD so I'm not sure lowering the pressure will give me enough 'flex' to absorb the shock. i have the stock motor mounts with about 70k on them (yes thats 70,000 miles). I'm worried if I upgrade the motor mounts to stiffer poly units that more of the energy from the launch will get transfered to the drivetrain and make the situation worse.

What have people done that actually works?

The rear trailing arm bushings are good insurance though.

do coilovers help with that as well by adjusting the ride height on the front wheels or am I thinking of something else?

3 motor mounts and the tranny mount and your good. You might as well change the bushings on the front and rear suspension and ingalls engine damper. Coilovers won't solve your problem
