2.3 Stroker!!! GT35 or gt3076????

I recently blew my motor on my Evo and having a stroker 2.3 built by Road Race Engineering.

My car currenty has a Naesi Engineering FMIC, 272 HKS cams,Findanza Cam gears, Exde with smart system, downpipe, cat delete, borla full exhaust, upgraded fuel pump, and 680 injectors.

My goal is around 400awp on 91oct. DO not plan on racing the car and the car will probably never see race gas.

The turbo kit I will be purchasing will be through RNR racing. WHat turbo kit do you recommend and why? I'm new here

I would go with a bb 50 trim, especially if your not running alky or race fuel.

+1...with a 2.3L you'll see some quick spool up and you'll easily attain 400 whp.

With a stroker, you might as well go for the 3076. I don't see how the 50 trim is going to be better, especially with the extra .3 liters of displacement, especially on race gas.

Once it's back together, I would take it to Tuning Technologies and let Alfred have at it. He knows the XEDE inside and out. And their customer service is second to none.

He said he'd prolly never run race gas. This is why I feel the 50 trim would be a better setup on the stroker. It's a great pump gas street turbo, especially with the 2.3l.

35r lag is over rated. i promise you will be happy. already want to go from a 3076 to a 35r. and you will run race gas after you get bored and its slow.

You might look at the 3065...somewhere between the 3076 and a 35R as I understand it. Pump gas might favor the use of the 50 trim on a 2-liter, but on a 2.3, well, you might eventually want a bit more topend potential than the 50 trim offers.

i second that...with the stroker it'll be a nice setup....the 50 trim with a stroker would be even more fun but with less top-end...esp if you dont plan on running alky or race gas
