The Purpose for ONLY having 91 Octane in certain states?
I hav e not found much information regarding the matter......
I could have sworn that higher octane fuels, being more free of contaminants and such would be better for the environment....however, I am curious....
Why would Califormia restict PUMP gas to be 91 octane only? What is the benefit, control? Jerks?

AZ is actualy worse off. Its Oxygenated 91. Its a special blend called "Summer blend" which is odd because our winter fuel is normal 91 which is better.. You would think we would get the better fuel in the summer when cars need it!
