when racing i have missed 2nd gear and 5th gear to the point that the gearbox grinds,maybe 25times in total.
my question is how many grinds does it take to screw up a syncro or is it imposible to say it?
i have changed twice the oil in my gearbox and always small metal shavings are found on the magnetic bolt on how normal is this?
i recently started using bgII syncroshift for the added protection cause its synthetic do you guys think this will help protect the gearbox against the grinds?
i have missed the gears cause i think my hand becomes faster then my foot when engaging the clutch pedal,

 

make sure you have the clutch pedal all the way to the floor, BEFORE you shift, you gotta be careful....

i just want to know from the people that have a rebuilt tranny how much times did they grind a gear before buying a new tranny?
