Do you have link where AL posted looking for an ECU? I would like to see that.

That is very interesting. Perhaps the OP entered into a deal with Al that he will not post flames about this and in return Al will get him another ECU. Only the OP can tell us what happened, but he is MIA

I tell you - seriously some of you guys need to find more productive ways to waste your short time here on this earth

BTW - as an update on this melodrama I recieved the suspect ecu today and tested it in TWO more IX evos and I have found once again that the ecu is working 100% perfectly

This ecu was written on by the customer with his name in blue ink so it would be impossible to substitute another ecu for this one - BTW for you arm chair theorists

(PS - I am still buying used IX and Evo 8 ecus for those who may have one to sell - PM me or email - I have decided to keep a small reserve in stock in the event of this kind of incident in the furture I can just ship a new ecu with the customer's map the same day to speed things along - luckily this sort of incident is very rare and almost zero rate of occurence)

Thanks

Final note on this thread

I just tested the ecu in yet another IX and actually did a back to back dyno testing to make sure that the ecu would make the same power and yes it did

The ecu itself is in 100% functional condition and nothing is wrong with it

The customer's ecu is being shipped back via priority fed ex and the customer is directed to concat BUSCHUR RACING at 440-839-1900 for further customer service and support

Also - the customer is welcome to contact me directly through email or phone to recieve additional tech support

i think maybe al sent back an oily ecu box with a nice surprise when he opened it... the owner seems to be MIA lol.... i think its a user error as well.... If the ecu is working elsewhere, it cant be Al's fault, but we, the customer appreciate your time to try and deal with this Al....

In other news, installed your eflash Al, took 2 runs down the track, 1, no race gas, 12.7, terrible 60, wasnt launching.... 2nd pass, cruising well.... blew the IC pipe off when shifting into 4th and cruised across the line at 93 mph running a mid 13.... should be heading back shortly, the car feels about the same after the flash but i doubt i'd feel a 10th or 2 with my finely tuned buttometer

My guess would be the immobilizer code is wrong. It will run in other cars because he is changing it to match the test car.
