12psi problem please help

installed a boost controller and realized was only boosting at 12 psi. after realizing that the Blitz DSB boost controller Spec S is only good for up to about 22 psi, ripped it out of the car and ran everything back to the stock boost solenoid. hooked up the boost gauge, and still am only running 12psi. checked for boost leaks, exhaust leaks, etc, am very confused as why am only running 12 pounds. i have heard numerous times that the IX runs 19-20 psi stock, and the car feels much slower now, any input will help as to why my boost is so low now

Sounds like your only running at the WG pressure... re-check your stock setup and make sure your hoses are connected correctly...

from the t fitting, i ran the line to the stock solenoid valve, and the other nipple goes to the intake pipe off of the solenoid correct? i went to the extent of reversing the lines on the solenoid and it still is boosting at the same psi

would it be possible that the lines i used are the wrong size.. i took the lines from the boost controller kit and put them back on because we cut the stock lines by accident, and we also had to use a couple reducers to bring the line back down to the original size. eveyrthing fits tight, but couldnt put any clamps on the turbo outlet pipe or the wastegate actuator.. would that make any difference? lines are are still securely on the fittings.

im pretty sure the gauge is readin correctly, its a brand new stewart warner we just put in. its getting the same psi reading as the boost gauge on the electronic boost controller gave me thats why this is throwing me off to say that its not the boost gauge

could make a diff. The only way to know for sure is to do a boost leak test.

You can also try something as silly as resetting the battery.

like the guy said earlier swap the compressor line and the wastegate line. one has a pill in it. one of them will have a red mark on it.
