Just based on those pics the Buschur welds look low quality. Makes me that much happier I went with the AMS LICP. Now that is QUALITY!

Tom,

I haven't try your product yet. I just referred to a topic that another EvO made about your LICP. As far is your products, I gave good inputs to a friend (Slowevo)about a month a go about your 3.5" exhaust.

I them ordered one for the Evo 9 and got the one with the faulty welding. FG sent me a replacement and I took the car to IAperformance to get it fitted for free.

The guys at IAperformanceSteve the owner and Gina) tried for over an hour to install the FG LICP on the Evo 9. It was simply imposible, it just wouldn't go in, the fittment was incosnsitent, the coupler was too small in length and in diameter.

We sent FG our second LICP back to them and they refund us the LICP. At least FG put some effort into their customer services and they also sent us a letter of apologies.

I agree with you guys in something, I perhaps got too excited that this pipe looks better than the one that we order in the past and I am perhaps assuming that it will work 10 times better. Time will tell

Carlos
Yah, I agree with you on there that it is a ***** to put on with that small coupler, but its nothing that a 45 degree angle coupler couldn't fix and voila!

Sucks it didn't work out for you with the FG pipe, but it seems like the Buschur won't be a problem. I am curious though, does it have rolled beads or no?

I also have the AMS LICP and it looks very nice. The AMS is made of aluminum and is very light however is made in two pieces unlike this Buschur one piece.

I am not a sheet metal guy so I am not an expert to give a profesional opinion on the welding however I can tell you that the piping is well alignned.

I just got underneath the car and saw my AMS LICP. Now I am convinced that many critics from you guys are just pure smack talk. I will go and take the Buschur Pipe and the AMS pipe and take a pic of both welding. There is nothing wrong about the Buschur One.

Perhaps I would put the criticism to the side after I download the pics.

Pic #1 is AMS
Pic #2 is both
Pic#3 is both

I'm torn between the HPF LICP and the new buschur one. Both have a very similar design and are priced about the same but I think the HPF has less bends. Any opinions? BTW, the buschur unit looks good

a few more pics

Buschur team, one suggestion though. The inside of the pipe comes with some of grease residual. I would try to clean it the best that I can but would you consider storaging the piping in a more controlled area?

Thanks!!

HAHAHAHAHA oh you guys.... hand held welding is just that.... it's never gonna be perfect. why american fabricators don't get rotating jigs and what not i'll never understand...

why do the japanese pay so much attention to these kinds of details? it brings a new meaning to made in china... but then again... the stuff coming outta china these days looks better than that :\

i put mine in last night (posted it). everything said about it is 100% accurate. it is a beautiful piece extrmely well done and thought out, fits like a glove and does what its suppose to. the turbo spools up about 2-300 rpm,s quicker and when driving the car you can actually feel the turbo working easier(you have to experience it to know what i mean). Once the undertray was off it took less than an hour to install and only because the stocker is a slight bit of a pain to get off because of the bracket holding it in. i had buschur send me t-bolts for it and the uicp also(know way those pipes are coming off under any amount of boost). The car definetely feels different driving, not in a major way but its something you can definetely notice(smoother, faster acceleration and like i said when boosting the engine really feels like its working easier. if you have a IX get this licp,ITS THE JOINT!

Do you retain the stock battery with the Buschur UICP?
