Even if the HKS drop-in filter is better material than the HKS RS, it still has to be changed and cannot be used for the life of the car like a K&N. No reason to get the HKS drop-in...

+1 which is why I have always used K&N.

K&N costs $60 - if the HKS is $30 and has to be changed at 10k miles. Where you can clean the K&N for $15 once a year (if that).

But to each their own.

Its actually 34.1psi. I am not sure if that is the peak on the sensor though.

I run 33psi every day. Turbo is in perfect order. If tuned correctly, you can do this.

Scott, how many miles do you put on your car in a year at 30+ psi? How often/how many tubo's have you been through in however many miles you have had your car for.

All I am saying is yes it can be done but its not very effective.

Still original factory turbo. No shaft play. No noticable wear.

400+/400+ I would consider to be effective.

I have yet to see ANY ill effects of running a factory 16g turbo at this level.

Over 200 drag passes also.

There is a LOT of ebay fraud out of south africa. I know Titan is strict about their shipping policy. You have to be verified and pay via wire xfer only.

Thanks guys, just got word from Geo, my stuff will be shipped within 2-3days

My 10.5 Hotside and Actuator I ordered from Forced Performance should be on its way already also. Other odds and ends I should have in a week or two.

Just curious - does boost fall to a lower level by redline? If so, how far down does it drop? Thanks for the info, it's awesome to see those kinds of #s off the stock 16G and it's even cooler to see how healthy the turbo is staying after all that boost

This is getting frustrating now I have mailed them like 3 times and still no Fedex tracking numbers, and to think I placed my order on the 15th of June...

In the meanwhile I Downloaded the ECUFlash Software and Evoscan.

Have also ordered the tactrix cable over the weekend which has already been despatched and I have a tracking number for I might add...

Geez I hope all my stuff arrives soon...

Scott, I thought you had to replace or rebuild that turbo once. Did that not occur?
