How many miles on your BUILT MOTOR!!!!

I was curious of how many miles you guys have put on your built motors.

I would like to know your break in procedure? miles before boosting and oil changes. ect

If your built motor has already failed, what caused the failure and who built it?

I've put about 3k on my 2.3l so far. Not a single glitch or issue.

Break in was pretty standard:

low rpm, vary engine speed, low boost, and frequent oil changes for 500 miles

The oil was changed right after it was fired, then 50 miles, 150, 500, 1500, then after I got it tuned. Still running conventional oil 20w 50. I will be switching to 10w30 full syn on my next oil change and running 20w50 at the track.

60 miles a day on my buschur 2.3 and 35r setup. 31 psi on 93 oct/smc alky, ivey tuned.....more then 10000 mi and it seems like its just getting faster. break in was the drive back from buschur. oil changed @ 500 mi, then every 3000 mi after.

very interesting indeed. You always hear the horror stories about built motors blowing quickly, itll be nice to hear some good stories as well.
