There has to be someone here that used one or has info on these. Any feedback would be great. If its as good as it seems this could be a cheap easy solution for people running close to 600whp?

This is made specially for Buschur Racing. This fuel pump is for the enthusiast that needs more fuel than a standard Walbro 255 can provide. This is a true drop in just like the standard Walbro. At 100psi of fuel pressure this pump flows 50% more fuel than the Walbro 255.

That reminds me, I keep forgetting to send Nick the one I bought. I bought one of these and then Dave told me it wasn't big enough for the turbo I'll be running.
This is definitely a great solution for anybody maxing out the standard walboro. I believe I have seen different cars max out the flow of a standard walboro anywhere from 580-650whp depending on the dyno being used.

I HIGHLY doubt this is a regular walbro GSS342 that buschur is selling. He states on his website that it is an upgraded 255lph pump. Like Derek pointed out at the top of his post. Plus his price of 250.00 is almost 3x a regular priced walbro.

I have the Buschur Modifed pump - actually two of them - they greatly outflow the #342 walbro at high psi applications
They dont say #342 on them - the #'s are gound off

The Buschur website description for this pump is
I have no reason to doubt Buschur's description, but it is useful to note that the basic difference between the Walbro 255 and the Walbro 255HP (the 342 model) is that the HP pump has much higher flow characteristics ABOVE 65 PSI, as you can see from the attached chart.
Al, what hard data do you have that shows that the Buschur modified 342 outflows the regular 342 at boost levels up to 35 PSI, for example?
Remember, you must add your expected boost range to your base fuel pressure to find the range in which your pump must perform. For example, say your base fuel pressure is 45 PSI and you want to run 30 lbs of boost... you need to find a pump that will flow the volume of fuel your engine needs at 75 PSI. The Walbro HP drops less as pressure increases than the standard Walbro 255. The point is, the flow at the boost levels you're planning to run is the critical point, and pumps compare differently at different levels of pressure, so make sure you know what you're looking for.
Buschur's description says that that particular Walbro flows 50% more at 100 PSI than the standard 255 Walbro. That may be true, but there are two things to remember: (1) you'd have to be boosting at about 55 PSI in order to need to compare at 100 PSI
, and (2) the regular Walbro drops essentially to -0- at 90 PSI (see attached chart), and so flowing 50% more at 100 PSI doesn't tell you much about the characteristics of the pump compared to anything else...
One thing is interesting -- the Walbro 255HP (the model 342) actually outflows the Denso Supra pump at very high PSI levels, although the Supra pump outflows the Walbro at levels up to about 30 pounds of boost (70-75 PSI). Of course, this is ALL somewhat dependent on the voltage supplied to the pumps...

Looks as though Dave has a new pump available along with the 255 high pressure. When I bought my fuel pump from him back in 2003 he only had one available, and it was the GSS342. Sorry for the mis-communication.
