10.5 single flapper,SS o2 installed

This weekend I finally installed my single flapper 10.5 housing, coated SSo2 from BR and a high load wg from FP. I know everybody says u will have boost creep with this set up. But not true in my case. I had the wg tensioned really tight and first and couldnt get below 26 psi with the mbc all the way down. later that nite when the car was cooled I went back and loosened the gate up some to get the boost down. All is well with only 1 turn preload on the high load gate with the mbc all the way down I only get 19psi all the way to redline even in 3 and 4th gears. So its not garuanteed to kreep like everybody says and argues over.

In the past the car would as if it wanted to fall off around 6500 now it pulls all the way to the rev limiter at 7800. Another thing that mite make it seem faster is the High Load WG so I dont have anymore boost taper. rock solid at what ever I set it at. I would say it was a huge gain in my car but havent redynoed or been back to the track to see how much tho.

Did you happen to retune the car? I know people see even more gains after tuning following both those items.

Yeah, I thought that the FP waste gate was made to stop boost creep.

From some previous comment on this board alot of people are sayin its the combo of the single flapper 10.5 housing and the Ebay style SS o2. But not happening ever with the dual flapper version of both volume housings.

For not being sure how it would affect the tune for sure. I would think leaner tho.I just added about 2-3%(AFC) of fuel accross the top end just to be safe. Mainly due to the boost not falling. I want to get a wide band really soon. Not knowing exactly where it is anymore is not a good feeling.
