Hi my evo has about 3700 miles on it and before i didnt know what other people were tlaking about by a slgiht grind goign into 2nd and then 3rd. But now im starting to notice that when i throw it into 2nd i do get some resistance and a reall quick and fast clicking noise and also 3rd every now and then. I havent had the time to fix it by adjusting the clutch pedal.

My question is why is it that only 2nd and 3rd grind? i mean if it isnt disengaging the clutch all the way shouldnt all the gears grind? every now and then?

 

Yes and no....its because the 2nd and 3rd gear synchros are the weaker in the evo. So those are the ones that stand out when something in the tranny isnt working right...on my car its 3rd and 5th

 

wow thats wierd 5th!? hmm im planning on adjusting it later today
