Listen buddy, I'm not jacking your thread. It was confusing the way he typed it and I get paid to write for a living, so I thought I'd help clear things up.

He may know what he's talking about, but he didn't TYPE it clearly. Anyways, bump for your thread

all im saying is the way i see it is you didnt correct me or anyone else in the thread and it also looked like you dont know enough to keep up in conversation (i can admit i know i dont...) so instead you tried attacking him from a different angle...plus ive been drinking, and i happened to log on, so if i seem like an over-bearing *******...ill prolly appologize in the morning. lol

NP. I just read it 3 times after your first comments and I still couldn't figure it out, so that's why I suggested the change.

BlackEvo,

I fully disclosed that I know little about flame propagation, quench, etc. I was just trying to clarify things so I made sure I was understanding everything correctly. Happy 21st

Magnus Motorsports has been offering a wide variety of custom pistons for the Evo for a long time, using particular quench geometry. You might look here: http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/engines/dsm.htm Also has built strokers for the Evo for quite a while.

I would contact RRE. Also try Alfred @ Tuning Technologies. Jackson Auto Machine I think is closer to you, and they have plenty of experience with the 4G63.

those magnus pistons sound pretty promising being all the testing they have done.

the ONLY ones to get as far as Rods goes = Carillo. The best as far as pistons foes = Cosworth. Valves springs get a matching set for cams/springs. Comp males some ecxeptiojnally cams at a VERY goopd price so I'd check those out.

Sorry, a llittle drunk at the moment so pleawe excuse the typing. :\

what about 10K unstroked and more power per displacement? so thats why im concerned about valvetrain, carrillo is going to be the way i end up going, expensive but worth it when we consider where this is going. Cosworth will be a possibility for heads, we found some that are a slight overbore and very strong, so we'll have to check the avenues available right now.

keep it coming guys, youre all a big help too!
