Modifying Fuel System

How do you modify the stock sending unit / fuel pump housing to utualize AN fittings for larger SS braided lines?

Using methanol injection (m15 nozzle) and 93 octane, at what power lvl do the stock fuel feed lines begin to become a choke point? Under the same conditions, what power lvl do an-8 fuel feed lines become a choke point?

so far, the only way that I've heard is to hose-clamp the ss braided feed/return lines to the barbs off of the stock fuel pump housing... but I'm assuming ppl like AMS use a different approach... anyone else have any input?

drop a couple 90 an degree bulkheads in the top of the fuel pump housing. for the feed put a hose end on the lower side of the bulkhead and connect it to your walbro 255lph pump or whatever you decide to use. what size lines and pumps are you guys planning on running?

You know, I just thought of that idea right before you posted it, lol. I'm also thinking of using straight AN hose barb to female AN adapters to use the stock rubber fuel lines inside the fuel pump housing... unless there's a better way to do it.

Plan on using -8an feed / -6an return lines... just curious as to what whp would -8an feed start to choke at.

Good luck trying to get a picture much less an answer from AMS. The only way I can see it, is to bore out the stock sending unit. The "weld" an AN fitting from the output (or a foot or two down) and turn it into something big.

not to sound like a complete ask, but did you really ask when the -8 an lines will start to choke your fuel supply with an intank fuel pump. -8 is generally good for upwards of 1000hp, by that point you normally just convert to either a sumped tank or fuel cell with an inline fuel pump. what pump are you planning on running?
