so everytime i go from 1st to second at redline, it grinds before it goes in and sometimes it wont even go in. i have the clutch pedal all the way down..for sure. same when i go from 3rd to 4th. now, i have to shift a little slower for it to go in which is giving bad times on the 1/4. i have a stage 2 exedy. i dont know what the problem can be.. any advice?

 

sounds like your syncros.

 

i'd try adjusting your peddle travel to the proper increments before writing off the synchros. also, check the condition of your underhood shift bushings, assuming you haven't replaced the stock rubber ones with brass or polyurethane, sometimes they tear and cause not going into gear conditions. if both of those are fine www.sheptrans.com cause it's time for a rebuild.

how many miles on your car, and when was the last time you changed tranny fluid?

 

43000 miles and i changed my tranny fuild at 26k with mobil synthetic 75-90 and i just changed it at 40k with royal purple 75-90 synthetic.
