Can you speed shift with it, or it jams like other clutches?

By speed shift, do you mean leaving the pedal to the floor while quickly clutch kicking and shifting. Some poeple call it different names, thats why i ask. If so then yes I do, but only 3rd -4th. 1st-2nd I only have the gas halfway depressed! Hope this answeres your question

Right around 30K miles. Not one issue other than a little decel chatter (no big deal)

Stock turbo 300hp (br dyno) for 80% of those miles (+restrictor). 20G 330-345hp for the last 20% (-restrictor). Probably 40-60 drag passes.

LOVE the clutch and will buy another when this one dies. I can shift REALLY fast with this clutch on stock drivetrain. I'm still using the stock shifter + poly bushings & brass underhood bushings with the resrictor removed.

Ceramic

Carbon

^^ I think. They include the flywheel. You definately don't want carbon on a daily driver.

Yes, shifting at 75000 rpm with the pedal to the floor. Most of the aftermarket clutches, I've been told, jam and you miss the shift, loosing the race or making a bad run.

I have done at least 30 hard launches (reved it up to 6000rpm and let go off the gas) with my Exedy Twin and so far so good: holds great, no slipping and great for daily use!

The carbons were never designed for daily driver duty. If you drive it daily, come see me in 5-10k... if it is a weekend race car, well, that's more what it was designed for.

BTW you might want to get with MattGold when they wear out. He used to work for Exedy, and is now with someone else... but still hooked up. He also does not recommend Carbons for daily drivers.

I'm running the HD right now thanks to Cal at Speed Element. I think other than the clatter, it is the hot ticket for up to a 500 or so hp street ride.

ETD Ceremetallic.

34,000 street miles

120-140 Autocross runs (usually with a full launch, ask my passengers!)

10-15 Quarter Mile passes

It might finally be starting to slip a little bit. I will find out for sure tonight. BTW, my stocker went out at 12,000 miles.

ok ok ok I need to know. You launch at 6k in the autox? does it gives any advantage (well I guess .5 secs)

I see that you have a 20G. How good is it for the autox.
The question is because I havent change my turbo because the autoxs but I see you go to a few with it.

Are those the cams that give better spool time?
Let me know.

txs
