just installed 20g 9 5 overboosting?
I just in stalled my 20g 9 5 I reconnected my boost gauge and have problems with it spiking past 35 psi. I have checked for boost leaks and can't find any. Could it be me boost selenoid or wasit gate problems? mods are open air intake upper and lower ic pipping 680 injectors fuel pump mail in flash. If anyone could shine some light on this........ Thanks Dustin

35??? I didn't even know it could go that high, much less BEYOND 35. I also can't imagine holding down the accelerator long enough for it to get that high. You could blow your motor with ONE pull to 35psi, so don't do that again!
Did cross up the boost lines during the install? Does it have the high boost actuator? With that, you can't go below 24-25psi or so, but it doesn't cause 35+.

First I bet you had Hella torque for 2 secs, but i bet 3 things
1 You forgot to connect the vacum line to the wastegate,
2 You simply crossed some line We have all dont it atleast once, ( and if you telling yourself "no" your a liar. )
3 Your boost guage is junk,

As you just mentioned a high boost actuator, I realize that the previous owner of the turbo may have likely sent it with a race wastegate actuator. I am awaiting a call from him as of now and will report my findings. Thanks.

It would help if you proof read your post and tried to make it at least sound like English.
It hurt my brain just trying to make sense of it.

ok I found out I do have the high pressure waste gate. but still I don't think that would be the problem for the overboosting. Does anyone have any clue......... I check all the lines and all is good.
