The actuator is not getting a boost signal. Or the diaphram is blown. those are really the only two possibilties. Check for a leak in the line. You can check the diaphram by using a cheap vacume tool. They dont hold 100% so you need to compare the results next to a known working one.

 

Never ever tell ppl that it is ok to run 35psi+pump gas

12psi is the wga spring pressure , u didnt stretch anything .....

 

I agree, bad advice to boost 35 psi. 25 psi on pump gas can crack a piston, 19 psi can too with a bad tune.

WGA spring wont stretch from it either, the WGA after bleed hole and MBC will never see manifold pressure.

24 psi is his wastegate pressure. he has the upgraded actuator.

 

I am trying to find someone to trade with for a stock 9 wastegate

 

i didnt say ot was ok to i just said i accidentally did it and it didnt ruin anything . and my stock boost was 22 psi falling off to 19 . the car runs 10:1 air fuel under boost. i also have no tune the car has the big 16g its a later model 8 so it the same as a 9
