The show pays each owner for the aprox. value of their cars. Then the show holds the real titles. Then awards both of them to the winner. My friend was on "pinks" last year and had to buy his car back for $2000 after he lost. So it is possable to get your car back if you lose.

nope, the show doesn't pay anyone anything. We where only alowd 10 people in the gates for free. The rest had to pay 10 bucks. At least the don't pay for anything anymore. They might have at one point.
I own Domination Chassis, we basically built, with the help of a few others, the ls1 240. Our compatition was suposed to be a 2jz powered lexus sc300. They, blew their motor the night before. One of the alternates we where going to race didn't want to race for slips. The producers wouldn't film it. Even though they can make it seem real on T.V. . They said they won't film bullsh*t. There wouldn't have been damn near a fight at the line afterwards if they where being compensated for their car. Or getting it back. We have it, and both are getting auctioned off for charity after the show airs. Which has been moved to Oct 18 by the way.
