You didn't have to stop the car, only the motor.

Because you did not, you may likely have engine gremlins for the rest of you car's life. If you think the dealer is going to replace everything damaged, your mistaken.

If you ended up totalling the car for shutting it down, at least you would be able to replace the car with a trouble free new one.

What type of gremlins? I dont understand why they are replacing the headers and exhaust system?

thats why you turn the ignition one click counter clockwise use the brakes because people see the red and know to slow down and push that red triangle and use your muscles and find your way to the side of the road im not trying to bust your ***** just for future reference when your temp doubles in 2 seconds you can have serious serious problems unless you instantly get the car off the road.
