Is it Blown?
The coolant hose blew off the radiator and caused a mess on my windshield while driving on the freeway. Unfortunately I couldn’t pull off the road right away, and hopefully it didn’t cause too much damage to the block? The car went from 200 deg to about ~400deg in the matter of seconds, hot enough to melt the rear bumper and parts of the trunk. Sucks for me! The dealer is running a compression test to see if any damage occurred. I am a little worried about the stress that the block has undergone. I know that aluminum and steel heat at different temps but I don’t know what the outcome might be as far as warping and gasket problems. Any (good) advice would be helpful.

Fortunately the dealership is taking care of the problem. They’re installing all new headers and exhaust. I think they should replace the whole car with a 9 mr.
The bumper melted in the rear from the engine overheating? How does that work?
Why are they installing "new headers"? I'm assuming you mean the single exhaust manifold, but I don't know what would have happened to it...

The exhaust got hot enough to melt the bumper. I told the guys to do all the necessary test to make sure everything is ok. They said that they needed to replace the headers and the exhaust system. I wasn’t going to argue with that. I more worried about the internals.
First thing-do a compression test. Also check your engine oil and your coolant to see if they mixed. If you find oil in your coolant (or vice versa) that means your head gasket is done (and your head might be severely warped). If the compression checks out, and your not blowing out white steam out the exhaust, you should be OK. Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune, Good luck with everything. The block should be fine, it would take some serious overheating to warp any part of the block (cast iron).

Head is likely warped, maybe even valves. Coolant in the cylinders in any considerable amount is bad news. The head should be checked out.
Secondly you should have not continued to drive the car, no matter what.
