Well for example, the Aquamist kit is a lot more sophisticated and has many failsafes. I don't think the current SMC kits have any reliable failsafes but I may be wrong. The new v3 SMC kits are supposed to be a big improvement over the older versions with more features/failsafes. The Snow performance kit is also really nice.

 

the V3 smc kit was suppose to be out months ago

 

basically all injection kits do the same job...more or less, slap one on and have it tuned for the extra fuel or extra cooling (leaning out for water injection)

what seperates a good one from a bad one is failsafe.

Does not mean that you are using one and your car hasnt blown up YET means its good.

Have one with a failsafe and tune it to maximise the benefits of injetion, or you can waste your $$ and put one without failsafe and have a BS tune on it, so when injection fails, the car survives.

The most reliable failsafe are flow sensor based.
