My po300 problems

Before you come in here and say search. I have spent the last 4 hrs reading everyone's threads about this.

Mine is different in that I have no drivability issues what so ever.

I have the mods in my sig and an E-Flash.

I got the E-Flash like a week and a half ago, I drive about 20-30 miles to work on the interstate at about 75-80 mph.

No SES light until yesterday when I drove out of town, round trip 252 miles.

So with no drivability issus what is my means of fixing the po300 code?

I went to openecu and saw this

Mine looks like the top one. Should I change it to look like the bottom one?

Will that fix the po300 code?

Thanks for the help.

the knock 1 table is located at 485b not 4850. edit your xml sheet, and the table will appear normally. baiscally nothing is wrong or changed in your knock filter table. your xml sheet is giving the wrong info to ecuflash so thats why it appears different. you need to alter the xml sheet named 94170008 in your ecuflash folder.

What about gapping the spark plugs closer to like .24mm?

do you have an aftermarket clutch, i always drew a po300 on the freeway decelerating from 85. If i hit 85 and took my foot off the gas the light would come on and in a few days would turn back off. i talked to pat down at vivid racing and he said it was due to the clutch chatter causing what the ecu thinks is knock

yeah there is a lot of speculation. I had this problem up until i took my car to shep and had my input shaft and 5th gear fixed. Not saying this caused the problem however i find it weird how this code has not shown its face since shep touched it! hahha

I have the same problem except my light never really goes off, except every once in a awhile. i keep checking the code and it is the same PO300 everytime. I have never had driveability problems at all. Still on stock clutch as well. I am wondering what the deal is though with this code!

Me too, I did the search thing and just about all of the results are people with some kind of driveability issue.

My car feels fine. In 5th at 60mph if I accelerate it doesn't studder it just goes.

The only thing I could possibly think that it is, when I have the AC on (wife and kids in the car) and I am at a light or in a parking lot and barely roll forward and push the clutch in fast then it almost dies.

Could that be what caused the light to come on?

If so couldn't I just raise the idle speed with AC on with the ECUFlash software?

I had a P0300 code that went off yesterday. I changed the plugs (gapped at .025) and reset the light. The car runs smooth now and the light has not come back on.

Thanks,

My light went out Sunday, and I didn't do anything to the car.
