The stock one is good dude. It should be fine with those mods. Unless your getting a turbo kit, id stick with the stocker.

When I had my Evo 8 I upgraded the clutch twice. First I went with an ACT setup which made a lot of noise and was too stiff. After breaking my t-case, I decided to go with a Road Race Engineering X-Clutch...(its their no name brand clutch and its very factory looking as well as sound and feel.) I also upgraded the flywheel but I cant remember the name....If you can get away without the flywheel I would reccomend that....cuz upgraded ones make noise too. Its all on how you prefer your evo. With your modification you definately dont need twin disc.....If I were you I would just check out the RRE X-clutch....low noise, low cost, and good drivability. Plus those guys know whatsup for sure.

Hope that helped.

P.s. How many miles on your 9? Mine is still stock with 16k and no signs of slip...is urs slippin or u just upgrading for the heck?

If you take out the restrictor in the clutch line you can make the clutch last longer. Its gives you more control of the clutch.

Or just keep the restrictor in and let the clutch out faster.

I can almost drop the clutch on my new IX and it will still slip a good amout. This is off of the factory 5K launch control.
