revolvers on just a flash?
revolvers on just a flash?
This was argued in another thread were it also said to start a new one to argue this so I did, however wasn't sure what topic should it be posted under. anyways . . .
Bottom line, will revolver 264 cams with spring/retainer kit, work on the stock ecu with only a flash to help with idle?
If this was answered else were, sorry - bump and please pm me the thread link, thanks.

signiture out of date
Sorry I havn't updated my signiture in a while, trust me i'm sure of the prper sequence. I just wanted to know if they'd work with the stock ecu, utilizing the maf, any problems with idle and daily driving?
This would be on a tt50 trim btw

individual tuners are having great success with idle tuning.
So any competent tuner should not have any problem getting a good idle with the Revolvers. It will sound lopey but it should idle steady and not stall.

I think ECUflash has really stepped up the game here. Initially, I'd have said no. The old hex game made it difficult for those who even had the hardware to use for this application. However, with more and more good tuners now flash tuning the Evo with ECUflash, I'd say there is no reason why not.

Will you be using a set of adjustable sprockets to help smooth out the idle? I know that with HKS cams this can be real helpful in achieving a smooth idle and moving the torque curve up or down in the rev range as well.
