boost on stock turbo

i have an 05 VIII and am getting a mbc and boost soon. i was wondering what is a safe level to push the psi up to. i was thinking 20 or 21. id like to get as much power as possible, but i don't want to risk any damage to my evo. thanks in advance!

What are your mods? Do you have a fuel pump or a tune? Your question is pretty general. If you had searched you would have found the answer you were looking for as well.

On 93 octane gasoline, 21-22# shouldn't be a problem, with a safe tune. I guess you already have a boost gauge.

yup 21-22 should do the trick. if you go any higher, the timing will probably go off.
