prosport vs. autometer boost gauge!

i have a prosport gauge and i was wondering, has anyone had experience with these gauges? i had an autometer boost gauge and it read 13-14psi with boost turned all the way down. i installed the prosport, made sure the boost was still all the way down, and the prosport read 7-8 psi. i don't know which one is right. my motor is all stock, except, intake, exhaust, intercooler, flash. stock internals. i've heard that stock internals wont be able to hold 25psi. but i've always ran 25 psi according to my autometer. the prosport, i think might be reading more accurate, but i just don't see how a boost gauge can be 5-6 psi off. i don't know which gauge to trust. help..!

Well, you can't run lower than wastegate pressure, unless something is majorly messed up. 7-8 psi is definitely wrong, hopefully it's the gauge, installation, or something other than the motor/turbo.

well, the prosport gauge is electrical and the autometer i had was mechanical. these two gauge are reading about 5-6 psi difference from one another!

I would trust the autometer...generally they are off 2-3 psi according to AEM EMS logs but that isn't much and it is safer to run lower than what you think you are lol...You would know if the car was only 7-8 psi....It would feel slow as hell. What doubleugly01 said is correct.

Shiv was talking about my boost gauge, and yeah, it was reading 30 psi with a Vishnu Stage 1+ setup.

I'd never buy an AutoMeter gauge again myself.
