Really the only parts that you will get now and still use if you decide to upgrade your turbo is a TBE (depending on the turbo kit you go with a new downpipe may come with the kit) a boost controller, cams, cam gears, and a few other parts. AEM ems would be a good thing to get, then you will be able to go with some monster cams like the JUN 272's or HKS 280s and get them to idle well. After having my car for about 1 month I started to modifiy it, im definatly glad I waited. Now I have exactly what im going to do written down in order,

1st round of mods (completed) TBE, MBC, reflash, boost gauge.
2nd round of mods - Transmission rebuild by shepard racing (my trans. is grinding so this is why its happening so soon) Exedy HD twin disk clutch.
3rd round of mods- ams FMIC w/ upper IC pipe, hks 280's with findanza camgears
4th round of mods - gt37r turbo kit, alky, aem ems
5th round of mods- Built 2.0L bottom end & rebuilt transfer case with limited slip front diferential.

Im sure everything will break a lot on the way, but hey like sleet will tell you, its a race car.
The entire reason i sold my camaro, was because it was flat out no fun to drive.. And its my own fault because the many modifications i did only made it ride worse, eat more gas, and make me cringe on any clutch engagement. Not to mention watching oil pressure and temp gauges more than watching traffic realy got old.

So with this car, id like to go as far as i can without taking ANYTHING away from the blast this car is to drive as it sits.

PS i dont expect many people to understand where im coming from...But one day you all will...sadly..

It's the same here as anywhere else. There are a few knowledgeable folks, and the rest just parrot what they read or what someone's brother's older cousin told them. I hate to say this, but you're not going to get an answer by starting a thread; even though, Warr did make a notable contribution.

If I were you, I'd begin by searching various topics of interest. Read for a while and when you find someone who you think shares your outlook and/or will understand your quest, spend some time reading his other posts to make sure that's the case. Once you've confirmed this, shoot this person a PM and see what he has to say.

The nature of discussion forums is such that it's the noobs that do most of the posting and that reply to the bulk of the questions. Most of the knowledgeable guys have already blown their respective wads by responding to similar questions over and over. But, you can find those folks if you search. IME, most are very happy to help. Good luck!
