BMC Air Filter?
BMC Air Filter?
Does anyone have a BMC air filter in their Evo? They are similar to the K&N/Works replacement filter. I used to use one on my sportbike and it was pretty nice. Flowed better than the K&N in every dyno comparison that I saw. Ferrari even uses them in their F1 cars

I have one in my IX MR and I've modified the top of the airbox with a louvered 5" x 6" ss inlet. I used one in my Hayabusa back in the day. Much better quality than the K&N and larger filter surface area. Seat of the pants......feels better.

i believe surface area...kinda like the works panel filter...
the kn filter has a large frame to hold the filter... the bmc is made with a thinner frame, that is a softer material that fits very nice and snug in the box.
i prefer them, therefore why we are becoming a dealer right now.
cb
also for pipercross (who makes the ralliart filter)

I have one, I have nothing to compare it to besides the stocker tho. Seat of the pants felt better, hard to explain maybe a little low end? Throttle response is a little better too
