is it me or is my car just making more boost
My greddy EBC is now spiking to 25psi...
thats one psi more than when it was hotter this summer
it used to peg 24psi and it now hits 25 with absolutely no changes
anyone else get this?
or do i have an issue somewhere?

yeah i got it, turn it down a notch 555R said it well!

 

this is funny because yesterday morn i was going to work and it was about 45 deg. so i decided to go wot and wow!!! 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 bar!!! o s h i t !! i was holding 1.8 bar to redline. so when i got to work i turned the hallman down a little bit. the colder denser air and my new deluxe FMIC is amazing. it was pulling like a freight train. it was tuned at this set up as well but it was 90+ when it was tuned. i am scared the 93 octane isnt enough so i turned it down. now i have the 20g-9-5 and a buschur stage 4 , and the turbo has the high boost actuator. so we will see what im boosting later today or tomorrow.

edit: forgot to mention my apex-i boost gage is off 1 tick mark so its more like 1.7 bar it was holding.

Yeah I headed to the ocean last night at midnight with the gf and did a 3rd gear pull and the car spiked 26psi and was holding 24. Suprisingly it felt fast as hell up top, but I turned it back down to 23 for time being :-)

 

I cant wait for the wonderful winters in Chicago. The IX isnt used to < 30 weather. All it has seen is > 75

 

Had to turn down the boost myself this morning. Hit 22psi and boost cut kicked in. Pulling alot harder now though!

Ya the car definatly does feel different in the evening hours.. Just like Borat would say " I like"

 

If you've got a flash it elimnates the boost cut. I dont have a flash... Yet... If you ever hit it you'll know... Makes you think you broke something. It might have also been raised on the IX's.

Sweet. Cant wait to flash the VIII. Waiting till i move in may... Then im going out to Vishnu or Speed Element to get tuned!

 

I think when it gets cooler I should make an extra 10-15 AWHP
