XS Power TBE --> Pics, Video, Review
anyone run this exhaust on a dyno yet? 1/4 mile times?
FWIW I am convinced that it is the same as the Megan and if that is true, it'll make JUST AS MUCH power as the top brand exhausts.
Just ask Warrtalon, he ran a Megan Turbo Back Exhaust and hit a 12.3 pump gas NO CAMS on his 2005 MR. That is fast, especially for a 6 Speed (at the time, he now has a 5 Speed.)

Yes, for those looking at this, add about 30 minutes to your install time just to get all the stuff out of the box and unwrapped. They do not mess around with some packaging, it is sealed up REALLY tight.
I installed mine last weekend and it went ok. The part everyone says is the hardest wasn't even that bad for me, the 02 sensor removal - i just sprayed it with wd-40 20 mins before and right before trying to crack it off and it came off in two tries with a 7/8" o2 socket.
I had trouble with bending the hangers at the right angle (evo 9), my dp doesnt touch the diff but it is close to the cross member stiffener bars and i am also really close to the inside right of the bumper, where I am melting a corner of plastic in there
- has anyone else had this problem?
I am hanging kinda low but not that bad, scraped the first time leaving and entering my driveway with 4 people inside - wont do that agian.
All in all, that thing is loud and makes considerable power over stock pipes, I also have the 02 housing to install but I am not going to attempt that until I get help.
I might buy a different dp if I cant get the thing better positioned. Any pointers?

No pics or tuning today because it's snowing outside, sorry. Snowing during spring break, that really sucks
The install went fine. I have an 03 so I didn't have to worry about the downpipe hitting the ACD. I would say my only complaint is that the donut gasket they provided didn't fit my O2 housing so I had to reuse the gasket that was on the the stock downpipe, which didn't perfectly fit the new downpipe. I cranked down the downpipe bolts though and felt around and didn't feel any leaks so I think it's fine. Obviously this is a minor complaint.
Other than that the exhaust bolted up and fits perfectly. It looks and sounds good. I think it's pretty loud but I like the noise. The butt dyno already reports a very noticeable increase in power, especially in the lower RPM range. Last night I gunned it in 2nd and hit the fuel cut around 5600 RPM so I definitely need a tune. I installed a Walbro and will be getting a Hallman Pro MBC installed and the car dyno tuned tomorrow (assuming the weather cooperates) and I'll report back with the results.
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I paid $250 shipped and got it two days after winning the auction. Personally after buying this exhaust I could never see myself shelling out 3, 4, or 5 times the money for expensive name brand stuff.

im jsut gonna bang on the DP a little , i think thas the best solution , bending the flange around will only position the exhaust weird and cause your bumper to burn , we only need about a good 1/4 inch of space from the acd , there shouldnt be any problems with that much clearance from the acd. bent flange = burnt bumper = bad news , but bad news can be actual good news , burnt stock bumper = reason to buy JDM bumper ..
well i installed the TBE everything fit like a glove. nice set-up and would recommend this kit. it SOUNDs awsome too....at WOT it just gets up and goes. butt dyno definty feels better low end TQ/HP as well as up top.
