hahaha true true... anyway, im supposed to be pickin up the car either tonight or tomorrow, they were throwing the engine and tranny and everything back in yesterday. hopefully that baby'll purr like it did when i first got her

eh.... series of miscommunications. car is getting a couple more things done to it b4 it's completely stock. ETA is now early next week sometime. hopefully everything will be running perfect. i'll keep you guys updated once i get the car.
I guess the unfortunate person you sold it to will eventually appear on the boards here.

just because a crankshaft is fitted with an oversized bearing (undersized rod throw) doesnt mean it isnt going to last. If mitsu sells oversized bearings, why in the world would they advise against you using them in the FSM?? Because they want you to buy a brand new 700 bean crank thats why. If the throws were undersized, and the bearings are oversized correspondingly, then there is no reason for premature failure.
