2nd oil cooler

Has anyone tried running a 2nd, additional engine oil cooler in-series(or is it, in-line?) after the factory cooler? Any thoughts as oposed to eliminating the factory cooler and running a single, larger replacement cooler.

you'd be better off replacing it with a larger cooler. at least one of the problems is getting cooling air flow.

bump for some answers... I have recently changed to a bigger oil cooler but it's still too high for my liking (125c on circuit after 4-5 laps).

Want to know if we need to change the oil pump if we will hook up another oil cooler in series? Thank you!!

ho... ok tunner is jp they place the second oil cooler like hks which is a bigger core one on the driver side "left side of the car" and conect both, so they preform more efficiently, and get an oil cool thermostat and then ud see a huge drop in the temp....
