I'm just amazed at the mistakes newbie make when they first modify their car....first thing is having a dealership do the install on performance parts....

And the other thing is newbies that dont do their homework when they upgrade their motor...

wow, just wow! I have had some retarded interactions with the dealeships but that one takes the cake!

Definetley do not let that one slide. You deserve your mony back or some sort of fair deal. If they in any way implied they will be able to install the clutch then you should not pay for tat work. It is not installed properly so they did not hold up hier end of the deal. Have you already paid?

I wish you luck, sounds like a huge PITA!!

freakin idiots man! You should definately sue them.. take the car over to andy or whoever right away and have them do a right up clearly showing how they jacked your car up.. then I would immediately go after then and expect them to reinburse you.. plus the money it cost to do the job right.

Wow dude...that is such crap! Who r these guys that put the clutch in?
Check the pedal adjustment, might not be disengaging your clutch enough.

That clutch should work just as the factory did! A drag clutch??? I would love to give these guys a call for you.!

Can you tell us which dealer it is so we can avoid it at all cost? This is totally unacceptable.

Another one of "retarded" dealer job.
Sorry man. Hope you can get it corrected.
And yes you can't shift probably because the plates are not disengaging properly and is most likely an installation error.
Looks through the peek hole and see if the snap ring is still attached to the Throw-out Bearing.
Good luck.

That sounds really F'd up. Bring your car to Speed Element since you're somewhat in the area. I had my exedy twin plate installed there and it feels NOTHING like you described... The pedal effort on mine is hardly stiffer than stock. And my car shifts into every gear just fine... 1st and reverse ARE a tiny bit tougher to get in, but by no means unreasonable. Maybe you can bring it to Speed Element and ask Devin and them to help you document everything when they take it apart so you can bring it to the dealership and have them maybe reinburse you for the install?

did you try adjusting the pedal height? make the pedal higher and see if that helps.
if that works for a sec and goes back to normal, then there is air in the hydrolic system.

mine worked fine, sounds like a bad install or bad clutch adjustment. adjust the pedal all the way out and see if that helps. and to the guy that said its an extreme clutch, its really not it drives similar to stock and pedal feel isnt much different, its a great clutch.
