9 second engine bay picture...so simple.



Here is the picture of the engine bay in my RS that ran 9.97 at 142.32 mph yesterday. Pretty simple looking to say the least. I hate that I have the adjustable fuel pressure regulator in there. I needed it to try and get more fuel to the engine as the car is running out. HOPEFULLY the fix for that is going to be here today and I can put the stock regulator back on the car to make things even more simple.

Dave can you share your "fix" for your fuel issues specially if you will be using the stock rail.

Are you still using the stock ignition?

BTW that looks way clean!

It's so stock looking. It really looks like at a glance that you have done every little to it. I like it! I like it alot!

Well Hopefully one day I can get another evo, and I am getting you guys to work on it.
You all do get work, and just like this car, it looks pretty much stock.

All of our cars are running our coil on plug ignition, it's the best. I can say that with confidence now as AMS is running it on their car and selling them so is Al.

I can't say what the fix is for the fuel system yet as I don't know for sure if it is going to be the solution. Believe me, when I find out I will have a new part to sell and you can count on me talking about it!! haha

/\ haha I was about to say the same thing about the brake/clutch fluid...

Looks great dave....almost identical to mine minus and plus a couple things

at what point does the intake manifold and tb need to be upgraded to the ported/65mm version...

Do you find to have too much traction if you go larger than a 225 BFG?

Yeah, that's weird, the brake fluid is way over filled. A little weight here and a little weight here all adds up!! haha

The air intake. Yes, we offer that BUT it has very limited use. Here is why. In order to run it you can't have ACD, an intercooler sprayer bottle or HID lights. If those fit the description of your car then it will work. If you already have our 2 bend MAF pipe at the turbo then you just need the cold air intake pipe, it's $165 with the filter, $125 without. If you need the entire inlet from the turbo to the filter it is $325. It will work with the stock turbo, 20g's or our GT turbo kits.

Funny when you look at a picture all the things you notice you don't like. My test wires on the passenger side, my too large cut for the wastegate, the overfilled brake fluid, the rust on the block and the fuel pressure regulator. I have some clean up to do

I just noticed that the battery is flipped from it original location with the negative terminal towards the front of the car...interesting
