HKS DLI 2 vs Sun Hyperforce Ignition
I think I might have hit the limits with the Sun. It works fine up to 30 psi on race gas or pump/alky. I had the car up at Buschur for a build, top and bottom end, TB and ported intake. Dave said they car would break up over 30 psi on race gas. He switched out the plugs gapped them to .25 and still had the problem. I'm waiting for his COP system to get in so i can get re tuned on higher psi with race gas. Hopefully this will be the key to keep the car from breaking up above 30 psi.
My HKS DLI II died not too long after install. It was sent back to Japan and about 2 months later I received a new DLI II.
When it was installed, I very rarely had misfires with the HKS running 28 psi.
I switched over to the Buschur COP and haven't had a problem since running 38 psi on the new turbo.

anyone mind doing a test with the dli, sun, and b/r COP. i mean its got to be the easyest test ever. i would like to see the resolts plus is the COP really worth it. lets see the tests. i think these 3 are the only one's worth testing as its the most popular
I would take a stab at DLI's dying due to user installation. If it were mounted too close to a radiant heat source, or a poor ground. Those types of things could cause a box to die. I have been running mine for about a year and a half with no problems what so ever.
so i think a perfect test/comparo
aem twin fire
hks dli 2
sun hyperforce
b/r COP
this is the easyest test that can be done. there should be no problem doing this test. lets get some units and a shop willing to do a honest test for us. come on guys
