what would be the recomended boost raise for a stock turbo in a 03 evo 8?

With a boost controller and no tune im running 21 to 20 pounds steady (little to no taper). Once you get a tune and meth you can run 23 to 24. I had a friend that was running 30 pounds on the stock turbo with meth but that didnt last too long...
