i am new to the evo world.just came up on 03 evo 8 .damm !.just had break down on me last night .i just put new radiator in last weak and now it dosnt start cranks fine but doesnt start so i had towed to mitsu dealer iin san jose califonia.it was sucking air though rad and giving me a false reading on dash also was burning rad fluid but not leaking .i did a peasure check and it held 16 pound.ithink it migh of blown a head gasket great i bougth this car with alot of miles on it so i hope i get a new engine .so what should i do

 

Did you buy it from a dealer? if so kick and scream untill they fix it!

 

i had the same issue a while back, it sounds just like the headgasket. overboost lately?

 

yes of couse i will kick scream .i have a extra covage. yes i overboosted a couple times when i frist got the car but i still think i didnt run it hard becuse it had all types of up grades like hks suction intake and hks evc controller stage 2 clucth apex timmer does anybody know where i can get modded somewhere in the bay area or in sacramemto cali

 

Moving to correct forum.

 

Just because you have all sorts of upgrades doesn't mean you can run it hard and be okay. There may not have been the proper tuning done to support the mods and make your car run properly. What is the boost at?
