Blow off valve location?

i know the stock blow off valve(DV) is located on the intake pipe, and the recirculating hose from the intercooler pipe is pretty short. On the Nisei UICP, the recirculating hose is pretty long.

Example

I thought it was best to have the blow off valve on the intercooler pipe, or as close as possible? or am I wrong? Just wondering....thanks

edit: not bashing Nisei. in fact, i have the nisei licp, and i want the uicp! Just wanted to know the facts...

No, you're not wrong. But that's why alot of guys weld the BOV to the UICP whether they are VTA or recirc.
